Turkish Special Representative's Statement on the Incident at ‘Surmalu’
In the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Turkey, the Turkish special representative, Serdar Kilic, has expressed condolences regarding the powerful explosion that occurred yesterday at the ‘Surmalu’ shopping center in Yerevan.
Kilic stated in a post on Twitter, “I am deeply shocked by the news of the powerful explosion that took place in the open-air shopping center in the center of Yerevan. I would like to express my sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wish a swift recovery to all those who were injured as a result of this tragedy.”
It is reported that at the time of the statement, one death was confirmed.
Kilic also tagged the pages of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Armenian special representative Ruben Rubinyan under his post.
