There are no winners in a nuclear war, and it should never be unleashed. This statement was made by Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to RIA Novosti. Putin made this statement in a message addressed to the Conference on the Non-Proliferation Treaty.

“As a member state of the Treaty, Russia adheres to its letter and spirit. We have fully implemented our obligations regarding bilateral agreements with the United States. There can be no winners in a nuclear war; it should never be unleashed, and we stand for the security of all members of the international community,” he said.
