EU Allocates 1 Billion Euros in Aid to Ukraine
The EU has sent 1 billion euros in aid to Ukraine. The funds have already been deposited into the account of the National Bank of Ukraine. This was announced by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on Facebook.
According to him, the second tranche is expected tomorrow.
“The 1 billion euros is part of a larger support package for overcoming the financial consequences of the war. The funds will help finance urgent budgetary needs,” he wrote.
