Attention: On July 20, the territory of the republic will continue to be under the influence of tropical hot air currents from the Arabian Peninsula, causing temperatures in the Ararat Plain, the foothill areas of Aragatsotn and Vayots Dzor, and Yerevan to reach +39…+41 degrees Celsius during the daytime.
A high fire hazard situation will persist in the lowland and foothill areas of the republic. The intensity of ultraviolet radiation is expected to be above normal. It is advised to avoid direct sunlight from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Weather without precipitation is expected across the republic on July 20. From July 21-24, brief rain and thunderstorms may occur in some northern regions.
The wind will be southwest at 2-5 m/s. In Armavir, as well as in the foothills of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, gusts of wind of 13-16 m/s are expected in the evening hours. The temperature will decrease by 4-5 degrees Celsius on July 22-23.
