«A Wonderful Morning in Baku»: Toivo Klaar Travels to Azerbaijan After Armenia Visit
The European Union’s Special Representative for Crisis Management in the South Caucasus and Georgia, Toivo Klaar, has traveled to Azerbaijan following his visit to Armenia. He announced this on his Twitter account.
Klaar noted that he will hold “a few important meetings” in Baku and shared a photo from the capital of Azerbaijan with the caption: “wonderful morning in Baku.”
It is important to recall that while in Armenia, Klaar was received by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan. The meeting also included the head of the EU Delegation in Armenia, Ambassador Andrea Victorin. Klaar had also met with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The discussions focused on the ongoing processes in the South Caucasus region, the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh, and steps aimed at ensuring peace and stability.
