Putin Will Not Congratulate Biden This Year: Kremlin Explains Why
The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, will not be sending congratulations to the President of the United States, Joe Biden, or Americans on Independence Day this year, announced Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President.
“No, this year there will be no congratulatory telegram,” Peskov said in response to a relevant question.
According to him, this is due to the fact that this year has essentially become the peak of the unfriendly policies of the U.S. towards Russia. “For this reason, of course, under these circumstances, it is hardly appropriate to consider sending a congratulatory message,” Peskov explained.
