Yes, Nagorno-Karabakh Does Not Exist; There is the Republic of Artsakh. Beglaryan to Aliyev

The State Minister of the Republic of Artsakh, Artak Beglaryan, has responded to the latest false statements made by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev regarding Artsakh. On his Telegram page, Beglaryan wrote:

“Yes, Nagorno-Karabakh does not exist, because there is the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), and that is a subject of international law, although it is not internationally recognized. The Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict has not been resolved and will not be resolved as long as Azerbaijan does not take into account the unwavering right to self-determination of the indigenous people of Artsakh,” Beglaryan stated.

According to the State Minister of Artsakh, it would be better if Aliyev thought more about the faithful implementation of the powers reserved for him by the Azerbaijani constitution, ensuring the rights of his own citizens (including Lezgins, Talish, Avars, Tatars, and other minorities) instead of ‘worrying’ about the rights of Armenians. He added, “Perhaps Aliyev will suddenly remember what happened to more than 500,000 Armenians in Soviet Azerbaijan, and whether there is at least one Armenian in the territories of Artsakh occupied by Azerbaijan.”
