In Armenia's History, We Have Never Had Such Shortsighted and Inept Opposition: Hayk Konjoryan
Ishkhan Saghatelyan and his political team reached the Olympic heights of political shortsightedness. Every day, Ishkhan Saghatelyan surpassed himself, and they outdid each other in their political myopia. This was stated by Hayk Konjoryan, the leader of the 'Civil Contract' faction in the National Assembly, during an interview with First Channel's Petros Ghazaryan.
“They told us we do not understand the situation, but it is they who do not understand, paralyzing the city, today they are the ones who are paralyzed. This was a disgrace, and as a citizen of Armenia, I am not happy with this sad ending for the opposition. People should also have alternatives; in the history of Armenia, we have never had such shortsighted and inept opposition,” Konjoryan emphasized.
He elaborated on poker terminology, referencing 'poker face', explaining that when they want to bluff, they do so with such seriousness that the opponent believes it. “They probably said this lie with a confident face and voice so that the people would believe it. It turned out that the people understand everything very well,” stated Konjoryan.
In his view, the aim of the movement is a simple attempt to seize power, and our wise populace has shown through their reactions what they think about this process.
