Thousands of State Properties are Wasting Away Due to Lack of Use, Says Pashinyan
Today, on June 9th, during a government meeting, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the effective management of state property is one of our most significant challenges, as there is an enormous amount of state property that generates no income or results for the country.
“Thousands of state properties are simply wearing out due to lack of use. We must understand how to manage state property effectively. There are state buildings that are not used, and there are state agencies renting spaces to locate themselves,” he said.
It is worth noting that today the government decided to auction the building of the “Public Relations and Information Center” SA and its adjoining area, with a preliminary value of 6.6 billion drams.
