Video: We Have Disagreements with Baku, Negotiating to Resolve Them - Secretary of the Security Council
After the meeting on May 22, we have been continuously engaging with Brussels, and all statements that are made and do not align with the agenda discussed in Brussels have been part of our discussions with partners, said Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan during a briefing following a government session, referring to the additional statement made by the spokesperson of European Council President Charles Michel.
"The Armenian side and what we discuss in Brussels correspond entirely with the process. We are trying to be as transparent as possible about this and only inform the public about what we are discussing," Grigoryan stated.
Addressing the ongoing border incidents caused by Azerbaijan, the official noted that each of these escalations adversely affects bilateral processes. "This has also been the reason that even before the commencement of the demarcation and delimitation processes, we proposed that the troops withdraw in a mirrored manner to ensure stability at the border. By the way, border security continues to remain on the agenda. We will discuss this and hope to find solutions to prevent tensions at the border," Armen Grigoryan added.
