Levon Kocharyan on Aspiring for Office
“I do not aspire to any position. If our movement succeeds, I do not want and do not plan to take any office. As for the Yerevan mayoral elections, they are in September of next year, and I have not discussed this with either my family or the coalition,” stated Levon Kocharyan, son of the second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, during a conversation with journalists at a protest action.
It is worth noting that participants of the 'Resistance' movement were near the Ministry buildings. Opposition faction deputies are preparing to enter inside to clarify the ministers’ stance regarding the published statement. This was announced by Ishkhan Saghatelyan, coordinator of the 'Resistance' movement.
