Russia's Foreign Ministry on the Use of Nuclear Weapons in Ukraine
The use of nuclear weapons by Russia in Ukraine is impossible, as it does not align with the objectives of the special military operation. This was stated by Alexey Zaitsev, Deputy Director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during a press briefing on Friday, according to TASS.
“The scenarios for the possible use of nuclear weapons on our part are clearly outlined in the Russian doctrine documents; they are not applicable for the implementation of tasks set during the special military operation in Ukraine,” he said.
