The Russian Ministry of Defense has released footage depicting the aftermath of the Ukrainian 'Tochka-U' ballistic missile strike and multiple-launch rocket systems in the central part of Kherson city.
According to the ministry, the strike occurred on April 27 at approximately 23:00 Moscow time. "Residential areas located on Ushakov Avenue, which include kindergartens, schools, and numerous social institutions, have become the target of the nationalists’ criminal and indiscriminate missile strikes, directly violating international humanitarian law norms," the ministry states.
The missile attack on Kherson was repelled by Russian air defense units. According to the Russian military department, 12 high-capacity rocket systems and two Ukrainian 'Tochka-U' ballistic missiles were destroyed in the air above the city.
