Rosaviatsiya Extends Flight Restrictions
Rosaviatsiya has announced the extension of the temporary flight restrictions to airports in the southern and central regions of Russia.
According to the announcement, "The temporary flight restrictions to 11 Russian airports have been extended until May 1, 2022,” as reported by RIA Novosti.
The affected airports include Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol, and Elista.
Airlines are recommended to create alternative routes via Sochi, Volgograd, Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol, and Moscow.
It is worth noting that the flight restrictions, which have already been extended several times, have been in effect since February 24, the day the Russian special operation in Ukraine commenced.
