Putin Invited to G20 Summit

Indonesian Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati has announced that leaders from all member countries of the G20 forum, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, have been invited to the G20 summit, as reported by TASS.

According to the minister, the invitations are sent out in advance. She noted that all G20 countries have already received their invitations.

Indonesia is presiding over the G20 this year. The seventeenth meeting of the leaders of G20 countries will take place in the fall on Bali Island. Earlier, France's Minister of Economy and Finance Bruno Le Maire had called on the Russian Federation to refrain from participating in G20 events.
