China Will Not Accept Unilateral Sanctions and Double Standards: Xi Jinping
The Chinese leadership will not accept unilateral sanctions and intends not to adhere to double standards in resolving international issues. This was stated by Chinese President Xi Jinping, according to Russian Gazette.
During his video address at the opening ceremony of the key part of the Boao Asian Forum, he emphasized that China does not intend to pursue policies aimed at forming alliances and exacerbating confrontations. He stated that China supports any efforts to resolve crises.
“We oppose the abuse of unilateral sanctions,” highlighted Xi Jinping.
At the same time, the Chinese leader added that the country will protect its security in both traditional and new areas, as well as strengthen joint efforts to address global issues to counter conflicts, terrorism, climate change, and more.
