Shirak Governor's Brother Resigns from Mandate, Daughter-in-Law from Position: Brother Leaves the Ranks of the CP
Arman Baghdasaryan, the brother of Shirak Governor Nazeli Baghdasaryan and a member of the Gyumri Council's "Civil Contract" party faction, has just announced on his Facebook page that he is leaving the ranks of the CP and also resigning from his council mandate. This is reported by Aravot.
He has also published his resignation letters addressed to Suren Papikyan, the chairman of the "Civil Contract" party, and Vardges Samsonyan, the mayor of Gyumri. However, Arman Baghdasaryan has not elaborated on the reasons for his departure.
Coinciding with this announcement, his wife, Ani Kocharyan, who serves as the acting head of the programs and external relations department of the Gyumri municipality, similarly posted that, as of April 15, she will no longer hold that position upon her own request. We will attempt to seek clarifications from them.
