They Can Live in Armenia for 180 Days: Kerobyan on Arriving Ukrainians
About 75,000 Russians have arrived in Armenia following the onset of a special military operation in Ukraine, and approximately 2,000 Armenian citizens have also returned to the country. This was stated by the Minister of Economy, Vahan Kerobyan, in an interview with RBC.
"It cannot be said that the arrivals will stay in our country forever; with special documents, they can live in Armenia for 180 days, as stipulated by the EAEU legislation," he added.
According to the Minister of Economy, the most significant issue for those arriving in Armenia is finding accommodation, as rental prices have sharply increased in recent months.
