VIDEO: Pashinyan is in Parliament

The Parliament continues its four-day session, with 25 items included on the agenda. Among these is the draft constitutional law on amendments to the "Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly," which, if passed, will regulate the election of the deputy chair of the parliamentary standing committee and ensure the normal functioning of the committee's activities. Additionally, there are bills regarding amendments to the Administrative Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia, amendments to the law on "Banking Secrets," amendments to the laws on "Insurance and Insurance Activities," amendments to the law on "Securities Market," and amendments to the Tax Code of the Republic of Armenia. These amendments are aimed at ensuring that Armenia receives a corresponding country status and a favorable assessment in tax matters under the Global Forum framework.

It should be noted that the two opposition factions had boycotted the Parliament session yesterday and announced their departure to Artsakh. However, Russian border guards in Aghavne prohibited their entry into Artsakh. The Armenian Foreign Ministry has addressed the incident, stating that it is contrary to the provisions of the trilateral statement of November 9, 2020.
