Photos: Wind Damage in Yerevan and Regions, Emergency Situations Ministry Releases Images
On April 12, from 10:26 AM to 11:50 AM, various districts in Yerevan and regions of Armenia experienced damage due to strong winds. Roofs, structural elements, vehicles, trees, and advertising billboards were affected in areas including Nor Nork, Nork-Marash, Kentron, and Shengavit in Yerevan, as well as in Narek village of Ararat province, Vayk in Vayots Dzor province, and Abovyan city in Kotayk province, as well as in Getamej, Mayakovski, Kanakeravan, and Nor Geghi villages. Emergency Situations Ministry (ESM) fire-rescue teams from Yerevan city and regional rescue departments have been dispatched to the scene.
