The Iranologist Vardan Voskanyan has made a post addressing Azerbaijan's deprivation of gas supply to the residents of Artsakh. He specifically stated: "The gas pipeline that ensures gas supply to Artsakh, which has been damaged or perhaps put out of service by the enemy, is of crucial importance for the sustainability of our nation in the Artsakh region. Therefore, by obstructing its normal operation, the enemy is trying to deprive us of the elementary right and opportunity to live in our homeland, in Artsakh, which should essentially be viewed as another component of the attempt at white genocide against us.

In this context, who is to say that the despotic regime of the artificial entity called Azerbaijan should be able to freely use and benefit from the Baku-Erzurum gas pipeline passing literally under Armenia's nose?"
