Cannes Film Festival Refuses to Accept Official Delegation from Russia This Year
The organizers of the Cannes Film Festival will not accept a delegation from Russia this year, as long as the situation in Ukraine remains unresolved.
“The Cannes Film Festival wishes to express its full support for the people of Ukraine and all those in the region. We stand with those who oppose this unacceptable situation and condemn the stance of Russia and its leaders,” reads an official letter.
