Zelensky at the International Court of Justice in The Hague
Ukraine has officially filed a lawsuit against Russia at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) of the United Nations. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky in a tweet, as reported by TASS news agency.
The Ukrainian president demanded that the court hear the case next week. “Ukraine has officially filed a lawsuit against the Russian Federation at the International Court of Justice in The Hague. We demand that Russia be held accountable for distorting the concept of genocide. We request the court to immediately order the Russian Federation to cease military operations and we ask for hearings to be scheduled for next week,” Zelensky wrote.
