Spain to Send Defensive Materials to Ukraine
The Spanish government is discussing the possibility of sending defensive materials to Ukraine. This was announced on February 25 by the head of the Kingdom's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, in an interview with Antena 3 television.
According to him, Spanish authorities plan to send humanitarian aid to Ukraine through Poland. “Yesterday I also spoke with the Kingdom's Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles, to explore the possibility of sending defensive materials to Ukraine to protect the civilian population,” said Albares.
“The defensive materials include bulletproof vests and helmets for the protection of civilians, as well as, for example, demining materials,” the minister clarified.
