VIDEO: Shame on You, Arman Tatoyan

The Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, visited the participants of the protest against the visit of Azerbaijani lawmakers who had been detained. In a press conference on February 23, Tatoyan stated that he visited those who had been apprehended, including a journalist, and spoke with the police.

Tatoyan noted that the detained individuals reported that force was used against them. He added that there are questions regarding the grounds for the detentions. However, the police also complained about unacceptable treatment directed towards them.

Tatoyan also addressed the insults directed at him.
