Russian Ambassador Summoned to UK Foreign Office in London: Details Revealed
As previously reported, the Russian Ambassador to the UK, Andrey Kelin, has been summoned to the British Foreign Office. During this meeting, the ambassador was officially notified of a protest regarding Russia's actions that undermine Ukraine's sovereignty. He was also made aware that additional sanctions against Russia are expected "if it does not withdraw its troops." This information has been reported by RIA Novosti, citing the UK Foreign Office.
It is worth noting that the UK Prime Minister's office also announced that the ambassador had been called to the Foreign Office. On her Twitter account, Foreign Secretary Liz Truss stated that she had instructed her deputy to summon the Russian ambassador to "clarify Russia's violations of international law and the undermining of Ukraine's sovereignty."
