Tesla Loses Ground as New Electric Vehicle Emerges from Norwegian Company

While the world awaits Tesla's long-promised Cybertruck, another fantastic project—a $115,000 (84,565 GBP) electric vehicle for eight passengers—has captured the attention of car enthusiasts. This is reported by Reuters.

The Norwegian company Fresco XL has so far only presented a 3D model of the electric vehicle but promises that the car will boast an unprecedented range of up to 620 miles (1,000 km) on a single charge.

The Scandinavian company Fresco XL has designed the vehicle for "harsh climates." The car will also tackle snow and ice thanks to its dual motors.

Currently, much is unknown about Fresco XL, but designers have stated that it will also feature dual batteries, which will serve as a power source for other gadgets. For instance, the electric vehicle will have power outlets that can connect to devices like phones or laptops, just like at home.

Owners will be able to convert their vehicle's battery into a backup energy source for their homes, and they could even sell energy back to the grid.
