Ukrainian Authorities Deny Information About Imminent Attack in Donbas
The Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, has stated that there are no offensive operations planned in Donbas. Earlier today, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba announced that 'Ukraine is not conducting and does not plan offensive operations and diversions in Donbas.'
'The only acceptable option for us to reclaim the territories is a political and diplomatic solution,' Mr. Zaluzhnyi wrote in a Facebook post. 'An offensive operation in Donbas would certainly lead to numerous civilian casualties, so such scenarios are not even being considered,' he added.
