At the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing, the figure skating duo of Tina Karapetyan and Simon Senecal, representing Armenia, placed 18th.

Karapetyan and Senecal scored 101.16 points in the free routine and have a total of 167.03 points across both programs, securing the 18th position.

It is worth noting that the gold medal in the ice dance event at the 24th Winter Olympic Games was awarded to the French duo Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron. The Russian duo Viktoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov took second place, while third place went to the American pair Madison Hubbell and Zachary Donohue.
