Russia and Belarus Begin Joint Military Exercises

Moscow and Minsk have started the joint military exercises titled ‘Union Resolve – 2022’, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“On February 10, within the framework of the second phase of the verification of the Union State’s response forces, the joint exercise ‘Union Resolve – 2022’ has commenced at the training grounds of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus,” stated the military department.

The exercises are aimed at developing measures to prevent and repel external aggression.
