Tragic Car Accident in Tavush: Military Police Officer Dies, Injuries Reported

Today, on January 26, a tragic car accident occurred in the Tavush region. Around 1:30 AM, a 45-year-old resident of Tavush, Grigor A., lost control of his Isuzu vehicle on the 2nd kilometer of the Aygepar-Moses road, near a cemetery, where the car went off the road and rolled about 100 meters down the slope.

According to shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, passengers, residents of Tavush, 34-year-old Karen Sh. and 25-year-old Harutyun P., along with driver Grigor A., were taken to the Berd Medical Center with injuries. However, one of the passengers, 31-year-old Vahagn Sh. from Tavush, died on the way to the medical center.

The injured were extricated with great difficulty by rescuers, and medical personnel at Berd Medical Center acted promptly. An operational group from the Tavush police department also arrived at the scene, led by department head Arthur Lobyans.
