Changes to QR Code in Case of COVID-19 Infection

In the case of COVID-19 infection, the fact of the citizen's illness is displayed with a red QR code in the 'Armed' application, and during the entire period of infection, all green QR codes will turn gray. Once the individual recovers, they will revert to green, the Ministry of Health of Armenia reports.

It is also noted that when visiting public places, it is sufficient to present the green section of the QR code from the 'Armed' application to allow entry; there is no need to scan the QR code. However, if scanning occurs, for the protection of citizens' personal data, the information included in personal accounts will be hidden, except for the first and last names.
