Remains Found in Jrakani
During the search operations for the remains of soldiers and civilians who died or went missing during the military actions of 2020, a rescue unit today conducted operations in the Jrakani (Jabrayil) region.
This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Artsakh.
One more soldier’s remains (participating volunteer or reserve) have been found and evacuated. His identity will be confirmed after forensic examination.
It is noted that from November 13, 2020, to date, a total of 1,708 remains have been confirmed as a result of search operations and exchanges of bodies with the Azerbaijani side.
The State Emergency Service will provide additional information on the upcoming directions and results of the search operations.
