Attention Drivers: Current Conditions on Armenia's Roads
The Road Department Foundation informs that as of January 19 at 09:00, snow is falling in the regions of Armavir, Baghramyan, Talin, Ani, Artik, Akhuryan, Ashotik, Ashtarak, Aparan, Spitak, Vanadzor, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Sevan, Jambarak, Gavar, Martuni, and Jermuk, as well as in the Dilijan mountain pass area. There are spots of black ice on the roads in the Goris region. The Vardenyats Pass is closed to vehicles with trailers.
The road construction teams are carrying out snow removal and salt-sand processing on the roads. All interstate and republican highways are open. To avoid accidents, incidents, and traffic jams, drivers are advised to use winter tires.
