Soldiers Killed on January 11 Posthumously Awarded
The soldiers who lost their lives as a result of Azerbaijani provocations on January 11 have been posthumously awarded by a decree of Armenian President Armen Sarkissian.
“Based on the Prime Minister's proposal, in accordance with Article 136 of the Constitution, as well as Article 5.3, paragraphs 1 and 9 of the Law on State Awards and Honorary Titles of the Republic of Armenia, for their bravery and selfless dedication while defending the territorial integrity of the homeland, the following servicemen of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia have been posthumously awarded with the Medal for Combat Service:
- Rudik Rafiki Gharebi, conscript soldier, squad commander, junior sergeant from unit number N.
- Vahan Vachagani Babayan, conscript soldier from unit number N.
- Arthur Artyom Mkhitaryan, conscript soldier from unit number N.
