Azerbaijanis Open Fire Towards Armenian Positions in Verin Shorja

Azerbaijani military personnel have once again attempted to provoke tensions in the Verin Shorja community of the Vardenis region. The Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire, resulting in an exchange of gunfire.

The head of the Verin Shorja community, Artyom Yeranosyan, informed Factinfo that he too heard the gunfire sounds, contacted the soldiers on duty, and learned that the enemy's fire had been suppressed.

“I also heard the sounds of gunfire. I spoke with the guys, they returned fire and silenced the enemy’s shooting, not allowing them to raise their heads. The Azerbaijanis fired towards the positions, and our forces have suppressed them with corresponding shots for now,” said Yeranosyan.
