Rudenko on the Unblocking of Transport Infrastructure
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko addressed the unblocking of transport communications in the South Caucasus during an interview with TASS.
“Unblocking economic and transport links in the South Caucasus is one of the key directions in the settlement of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Russia is an active participant in this process. At the summit held in Moscow on January 11, 2021, the leaders of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan agreed to establish a trilateral working group headed by the deputy prime ministers of the three countries. Within this framework, serious work has been done towards the restoration of both railway and automobile communication in the region,” Rudenko stated. “Currently, a unified package is being refined.”
