We Should Not Ask Countries Outside the Region to Decide Our Fate, Says Iran's Foreign Minister
The countries in the region can resolve their own issues. This was stated by Hossein Amir Abdollahian, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, during a joint press conference with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. Azerbaijani media reported on this statement.
“There is no need for outside intervention. We should not ask countries outside the region to decide our fate and solve our problems. There is no place for them in our region. The countries of the region have the necessary will to resolve the issue,” said the minister.
