French Presidential Candidate to Visit Armenia
French presidential candidate, renowned French writer and journalist Éric Zemmour, will arrive in Armenia for a three-day visit on December 11. He announced this on his Twitter microblog, indicating that he will engage with issues concerning French investments in the South Caucasus, intercultural dialogue, and politics. This will be Zemmour's first campaign visit.
According to him, Armenia is a long-standing friend of France. Zemmour positions himself as a supporter of right-wing political views. On December 5, 2021, during a socio-political event in the city of Villepinte, Zemmour announced the formation of the political alliance 'Reconquête'. He officially declared his candidacy for the French presidential elections on November 30, 2021.
