Will the US Construct Facilities in Georgia and Armenia for Its 'Defense Activities'?
The United States does not rule out the possibility of allocating funds for the construction of new facilities in Georgia and Armenia to support its 'defense activities.' This is stated in preliminary documents published by the US Army Corps of Engineers, as reported by RT.
According to the source, the American side intends to sign two separate contracts with companies willing to participate in the design and construction of new facilities, as well as the restoration and maintenance of old ones in Armenia and Georgia, in support of US defense operations.
It is noted that each proposed contract will primarily relate to the construction, design, and reconstruction of buildings, as well as the renovation of roads and sidewalks, among other tasks. The total value of the work under the corresponding contracts could amount to $45 million.
