Russia's Foreign Ministry Calls for Restraint from Armenia and Azerbaijan
Moscow urges Armenia and Azerbaijan to show restraint, to prevent the recurrence of incidents and to resolve issues through diplomatic means. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, as reported by RIA Novosti.
“We call on both sides to exercise restraint, prevent new incidents, and resolve all disputes exclusively through political and diplomatic means,” Zakharova said.
The country’s Foreign Ministry representative added that Moscow is ready to continue providing assistance to the parties in the interests of maintaining peace and stability in the region.
