Response from CSTO Spokesperson on Situation at Armenian-Azerbaijani Border
Factor.am reports that the CSTO spokesperson Vladimir Zaytsevdinov was approached to clarify the organization's position regarding the events occurring at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and how they respond to official Yerevan's call for a precise response to Azerbaijani actions. ‘Tomorrow, I might inform you. Let’s wait,’ he replied.
It is worth noting that earlier, the Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, stated during a broadcast on First Channel about the tense situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, that Armenia prioritizes resolving the crisis through the Russian Federation and CSTO structures. ‘But if we cannot resolve the existing crisis through the established frameworks, as we have repeatedly mentioned, then Armenia will be forced to seek other frameworks, that is, to address international partners,’ he said.
