Kapan and Goris to Receive Additional Emergency Medical SUVs, Minister Says
Yesterday, my deputy was in Syunik and Vayots Dzor, where we regularly conduct on-site needs assessments and respond promptly to them. This was stated today, November 17, during a press briefing with reporters in the National Assembly by Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan, addressing the issue of closed roads in some villages of Syunik leading to Kapan, requiring a 150 km detour to reach Kapan, and whether ambulances can reach patients in time.
“All these communities will be provided with the necessary first aid supplies. Both the Kapan and Goris emergency medical centers will have additional emergency medical SUVs. These have already been provided, and more will be delivered. The overall health coverage of these communities will be organized. There is no issue in reaching the location,” she said.
