Concerning COVID-19 Data in Artsakh: 2 Deaths Reported
On October 28, 175 tests were conducted, confirming 85 new cases of coronavirus. This means that nearly 50% of those tested were found to be positive.
Among the infected, 63 are residents of Stepanakert, 10 from Martakert, 7 from Askeran, and 5 from the Martuni region.
Currently, 164 infected individuals are receiving inpatient treatment. Doctors assess the condition of 20 patients as extremely severe, while 77 are in serious condition, including young individuals. Mild cases are being treated on an outpatient basis.
There have been 2 reported deaths. A 91-year-old woman passed away due to COVID-19 after being diagnosed with bilateral polysegmented pneumonia and heart failure. A 70-year-old man also died from COVID-19 complications, having been diagnosed with bilateral polysegmented pneumonia and acute cardiovascular failure, according to a statement from the Artsakh Ministry of Health.
