Ukrainian Defeats Briton and Captures Four Professional Boxing Titles

Aleksandr Usyk has defeated Anthony Joshua and captured the WBA Super, WBO, IBF, and IBO titles.

The Ukrainian Aleksandr Usyk triumphed over the British fighter Anthony Joshua and secured the WBA Super, WBO, IBF, and IBO titles in the heavyweight division. In a 12-round bout, Usyk achieved victory by unanimous decision of the judges with scores of 116-112, 117-114, and 115-113.

The 34-year-old Usyk has been active in the professional ring since 2013, boasting 19 fights and an equal number of victories, 13 of which were by knockout. The 31-year-old Joshua suffered his second loss in 24 fights, having secured 22 victories, all by knockout.
