VIDEO: Strolling in Stepanakert, Claims to Be in Khankendi in Russian; Case of State Treachery Revealed in Artsakh
The National Security Service of the Republic of Artsakh has revealed a case of state treachery while persistently fighting against espionage activities directed at the Republic of Artsakh by foreign state intelligence services. The revelation came as a result of operational and investigative actions undertaken by the agency.
Specifically, on September 25, videos circulated on social networks and Telegram channels showing an individual strolling through various locations in Stepanakert, who emphasized in the Russian language that he was in Khankendi.
As a result of operational and investigative measures carried out in cooperation with the police of the Republic of Artsakh, M. A., a resident of the Ivanian community in the Askeran district born in 2000, was located and detained on suspicion of committing an offense as stipulated in Article 310 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Artsakh.
At the same time, the national security service also expects broad public involvement in the process, encouraging citizens to report any information they may have regarding state treachery or espionage to the authorities for the benefit of the Republic of Artsakh. Furthermore, they urge the public not to be misled by disinformation campaigns directed by enemy intelligence services and to avoid fostering a climate of fear through such materials,” the statement from the Artsakh National Security Service reads.
