Ka-27 Helicopter Crashes in Kamchatka
A Ka-27 helicopter belonging to the Russian Federal Security Service's Eastern Arctic Border Directorate has crashed in Kamchatka. The information has been reported by RIA Novosti, citing a representative of emergency services.
The helicopter had a crew of five members on board. According to the agency's source, the missing helicopter was located at a distance of 10 kilometers from the village of Nikolaevka in the Elizovsky district at 22:10 Moscow time yesterday. Search operations involved 13 people and three units of equipment.
