Supreme Court Appoints New Judge
The National Assembly has elected Hovsep Bedevyan as a judge of the Supreme Court. Narik Babayan, the chairman of the counting committee, presented the results of the voting.
Out of 107 deputies, 88 participated in the voting, with one ballot declared invalid. A total of 80 deputies voted in favor of Hovsep Bedevyan’s candidacy.
The Supreme Judicial Council had nominated Hovsep Bedevyan, Hrach Ayvazyan, and Lianna Hakobyan for the vacant positions of judges in the Civil and Administrative Chambers of the Supreme Court.
