‘Is the Iraqi embassy aware that they have rented a barn from you?’ MP shows photo of Jhangiryan’s house

‘Where did you get the money to build a private house in a well-known neighborhood in Yerevan that you referred to as a barn to decrease its price? Currently, the Iraqi embassy in Armenia is located in that barn you mentioned. Is the Iraqi embassy aware that they have rented a barn from you?’ asked opposition faction MP Aregnaz Manukyan while addressing the President of the Judicial Council, Gagik Jhangiryan.

Jhangiryan responded that the property was not rented from him but from his son: ‘I have detailed my response to this issue in a previous parliament session... Do you know why I called it a barn? Because my house is modest compared to the neighboring luxury residences,’ added the President of the Judicial Council.
