Emotional Scenes from Paris: France Bids Farewell to a Legend
In Paris's Invalides today, the world bids farewell to a legend, the internationally acclaimed actor Jean-Paul Belmondo. The 88-year-old actor's farewell ceremony has drawn over 700 attendees invited by the Élysée Palace.
Alongside Belmondo's family, the ceremony includes the country's president, renowned artists, athletes, politicians, and other compatriots of the artist. Fans brought flowers to his home near the Seine, and those wishing to pay their respects had gathered at the Invalides since morning.
